NAHI Minnesota Professional Home Inspectors Organization

Welcome! As the current President of the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of
Home Inspectors, or NAHIMN, I am thrilled to be able to invite everyone to this, our Minnesota
Local Chapter website! NAHIMN is a chapter of NAHI Inc., a worldwide home inspection
organization that has been serving the needs of home and building inspection professionals for
over 20 years and whose membership spans the globe.

Our chapter's philosophy consists of members sharing information and the education of home
inspectors in general, which helps provide better service making happier more informed clients
and a smoother buying or selling transaction! This site is just one tool we have available to us as
at NAHI MN. We have programs like a Mentoring Program allowing home inspectors to ride along
with each other during fee paid inspections to gain insight into how others perform and maybe
pick up some tips and techniques that otherwise might not be available to them.

The site is designed to be as user friendly as possible for home owners seeking information
about how the process of home inspecting works for buyers as well as sellers or what a home
inspection is and so on as well as a resource of well qualified home inspection professionals
ready to help in the fast paced and expensive buying process. Realtors who are looking for
professional, knowledgeable home inspectors for their clients, mortgage bankers needing a
trained inspection professional to protect their interests, real estate attorneys in need of
professional witnesses and constructions trade professionals and others needing insight into the
world of home building or inspecting will find our site invaluable.

It is also designed to be a community for our members to share information. Home inspector
members can upload images for discussion or to use in reporting problems, keep up on local and
national home inspection events or changes to our industry and share stories or maybe get
advice if stumped on an inspection problem.

We invite those considering the home inspection field as a profession or those who are already in
the field but looking for camaraderie and a way to grow their home inspection businesses
professionally, to join us at a regular meeting.
